What is the difference between an oil-free air compressor and a oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressor?

With the development of society, the advancement of technology, and the improvement of living standards, the devices we use around us are also quietly changing. From the popularity of micro-oil air compressors, to now more and more related to people's livelihood or important industries, oil lubricated air compressors are gradually replaced, which is also the trend of the times,  JOY Machinery ( The editor of Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will introduce to you as follows:

In terms of the application environment of air compressors, oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressors are generally used in ordinary industries, while oil-free air compressors are generally used in key fields, such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, etc., which have higher compressed air quality. Required occasions; in terms of the quality of compressed air, oil-free air compressors can ensure that the compressed discharged air is 100% oil-free, while oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressors cannot do this; from the production and process requirements of air compressors : Oil-free air compressors require materials such as stainless steel and copper, which have high requirements for manufacturing processes. The oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressor does not need to use valuable materials, and the requirements for the production process are relatively low. Whether the operation of the air compressor requires lubricating oil: oil-free air compressors do not require lubricating oil at all, while oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressors will use lubricating oil.

With the improvement of users' requirements for the quality of compressed air sources, the application of oil-free air compressors is becoming more and more extensive. From biology, medicine, electronics, food, medical, automotive to chemical and other fields. These industries are very demanding for compressed air, requiring water, oil, dust, bacteria, etc. to reach a high level. However, the water, dust and bacteria in the compressed air discharged by the oil lubricated/micro-oil air compressor can be solved by a series of post-processing equipment such as filters and dryers, and oil removal is relatively difficult and cannot be solved of this problem.

Although the parts which participates in the compression, the parts in contact with the air do not have lubricating oil, but the lubricating oil is still used to cool the parts and lubricate the rotating moving parts, but the compression chamber and the lubricating oil are completely sealed and isolated to ensure the compressed air absolutely oil free.
